Overview
This is the xmartO ENQ88 8CH 4K 8MP PoE network video recorder. With 8 PoE ports, you’ll plug up to 8 PoE cameras to build a surveillance system.
ONVIF compatible
xmartO PoE cameras are 100% compatible. This NVR is ONVIF compatible. ONVIF cameras from other brands must work just fine with this NVR. The PoE ports of this NVR is standard PoE with pins #1, #2, #4 and #6 for power. 3rd party cameras wish to be with this PoE standard to get power from the NVR.
How to use this NVR with PoE cameras?
Use CAT5/ CAT6 Ethernet cables to plug your PoE cameras to this NVR’s LAN ports.
How to use xmartO WiFi cameras with this NVR?
Solution 1: use an Ethernet cable to hard wire the WiFi camera to this NVR’s LAN port. Purchase a 3rd party PoE splitter and apply it to the camera’s end. This way, you do not have to plug the WiFi camera from nearby outlet.
Solution 2: use an Ethernet cable to hard wire the WiFi camera to this NVR’s LAN port. On the camera’s end, plug it to power from nearby outlet (with WiFi camera’s own power plug)
Solution 3: hard wire your WiFi cameras to your home router, or connect your WiFi cameras to your home router by means of WiFi. Hard wire this NVR’s WAN port to your router so all cameras & NVR are in the same LAN. Go to NVR’s Camera Manage – search cameras out, double click to add them to empty channels one after the other.
Solution 4: purchase an xmartO RPT20 WiFi camera router, pair your WiFi cameras to the RPT20 camera router, then hard wire the RPT20 to your home router. In NVR’s Camera Manage, search cameras out and double click to add them to channels.
